Pseudochazara orestes De Prins & van der Poorten, 1981

Balkan endemic, confined to some mountains of N Greece and S Bulgaria; usually at 800—1800 m. Univoltine, flies from the middle of June till late July. Prefers hot, dry limestone rocky slopes. Here figured is also the habitat in S Pirin, Bulgaria.
