Leptophobia cinerea (Hewitson, 1867)

The species was described from Ecuador as ‘Pieris cinerea’ by Hewitson, 1867 (Descriptions of some New Species of Diurnal Lepidoptera. — Trans. ent. Soc. Lond. (3) 5 (7): 563). Here figured is subspecies menthe (Hopffer, 1874) [= litana Fruhstorfer, 1907 (Neue Südamerikanische Pieriden. — Int. ent. Z. 1 (36): 271; type locality: ‘Bolivien’)], living in Peru and Bolivia.
