The designation of the name-bearing type of a nominal taxon when it is established.

The original spelling of a name is to be kept as the ‘correct original spelling’ unless it does not meet the requirements of the Code Article 32.5 (ICodeZN).

— Multiple original spellings — two or more different original spellings for the same name.

Of a nominal genus-group taxon: the nominal species deemed to be originally included under Article 67.2 (ICodeZN).
