Zoological
Annales Zoologici Fennici — Welcomes submissions of original, previously unpublished research reports, review articles, rapid communications, and commentaries on any level of biological organization. AnZF especially welcomes manuscripts dealing with ecology, behaviour, or evolutionary patterns of animals. AnZF also encourages submission of important research relating to conservation biology and wildlife management.
Acta Zoologica Cracoviensia — An international quarterly journal publishing papers of general interest on the systematics, phylogeny, biogeography, ecology and paleontology of terrestrial and fresh-water animals worldwide.
Animal Behaviour — A leading international publication and has wide appeal, containing critical reviews, original papers, and research articles on all aspects of animal behaviour. Book Reviews and Books Received sections are also included.
Annales Zoologici — Published quarterly by the Museum and Institute of Zoology, Polish Academy of Sciences. It is an international journal devoted to all aspects of systematic zoology (in broad sense).
Australian Journal of Zoology — Has a 50-year history of publishing seminal papers across a wide range of the animal sciences, with a focus on Australasian Zoology. All zoologists find it a vital resource because of the contribution papers make to broader conceptual paradigms. The scope, which includes genetics and evolution to physiology, ecology and behaviour, enables the journal to develop in tandem with the rapid progress in the zoological sciences.
Fragmenta Faunistica — A specialist journal published by the Museum and Institute of Zoology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The journal, first published in 1930, appeared under the title Fragmenta Faunistica Musei Zoologici Polonici until 1953. Now the journal is issued semi-annually and publishes the papers devoted to knowing fauna, its differentiation, distribution and transformation. These are the results of original studies, review articles and syntheses dealing with faunology and related sciences as zoogeography or zoocenology.
Invertebrate Systematics — An international journal publishing significant contributions and reviews on the systematics and phylogeny of invertebrate faunas worldwide. The focus is on comprehensive papers that include phylogenetic and biogeographic analyses and that take a multidisciplinary approach to the study of invertebrate systematics.
Israel Journal of Zoology — Welcomes original research articles in all fields of zoology. In particular, articles dealing with the fauna of Israel and other countries of the Near East, the Red Sea, and the Eastern Mediterranean region are encouraged.
Italian Journal of Zoology — Formerly Bollettino di ZooIogia. Published by the Italian Society of Zoologists (Unione Zoologica Italiana).
