Lectotype male, in MNHN Paris, designated by Abadjiev (2005: 131), with labels:
— (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions [here italicised] (on white paper with light green frame and lines) ‘Quito | Pérou | 1851 | mr. Mougrand | MUSÉUM DE PARIS’, on the back side handwritten in pencil ‘helena | Luc’ and circle sticked, handwritten ‘319 | 51’; (2) printed (on white paper in red) ‘TYPE’; (3) circle printed (on white paper with blue frame) ‘SYN- | TYPE’.
Paralectotype female, in MNHN Paris, with labels:
— (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions [here italicised] (on white paper with light green frame and lines) ‘Quito | Pérou | 1859 | mr. Originally described and currently treated as a taxonomic species.
