Euchloe guaymasensis Opler, new species’ Opler, 1987 (A new Euchloe (Pieridae) from northwestern Mexico. — Journal of the Lepidopterists’ Society 40 (3): 188—190). Type locality: ‘Mexico, Estado de Sonora, Las Avispas microwave relay, 2000’ (655 m), 40 mi (64 km) N Guaymas’ (Opler, 1987: 189).

Holotype male, in USNM Washington DC, originally designated, with labels:
— (1) handwritten (on white paper, black framed) ‘24.III.83 2000’ | microwave | relay, 60 km S | of Hermosillo | Son.’; (2) handwritten (on white paper) ‘13737 RWH | Euchloe | sp.’; (3) handwritten (on white paper) ‘PAO PREP. | 354 10/85’, on the back side ‘#2’; (4) handwritten (on white paper, red band on the left) ‘HOLOTYPE male | Euchloe | guaymasensis | OPLER 1986’ — [M 48: 330]
